Marking International Day of Action for Rivers 2017, Riverine People and the Chittagong University Rivers Conservation Club organized a cycle ride with the slogan of “Cycling for Rivers”. Around 40 cyclists started a cycle ride from the university campus and cycling on the bank of River Halda to make a campaign to protect River Halda through active youth engagement.
This conservation club intend to spread this spirit for rivers among other youth committees to make the awareness campaign altogether for building a strong network for river conservation.
